An in-depth guide to TinyIMG settings
You can manually edit the filename in our Settings from the menu bar at the top, filename optimization section. Filename template will be used to generate your product filename by taking information from your actual products. Which means that for different products, you will have different filenames.
You can manually edit ALT texts in our Settings from the menu bar at the top, ALT text optimization section. The ALT text template will be used to generate your product ALT texts by taking information from your actual products. Which means that for different products, you will have different ALT Texts.
You can manually optimize images in our Dashboard, Manual image optimization section. Just drop images in the box below or click on It to select them. Once complete, you can download those images one by one or if you added more images, download all at once.
In our Settings from the menu bar at the top, Advanced image reduction section. Choose the right size: 2048x2048 - image resolution option if you have an active product image zoom function (recommended by Shopify) 1200x1200 - image resolution when not using the product's image zoom function -> (recommended by TinyIMG).
You can stop image optimization when you run out of credit, by disabling recharge. Currently this is done by our support and If you want to disable image optimization when you run out of credit, just reach out to us and we will disable It for you.
Select ALT texts from the menu bar at the top. With TinyIMG you can optimize Product, Collection and Article pages. Then choose one of them and click “View”. If you select a product page with a filter selection, you can select "All" or "With errors" .Then is the status bar you will see how many errors your product page has. And near it - "Edit" button. When you click on it you will see all of the images and ALT texts. Here you could change them. When you do it, click "Update". And if you select Collection or Article page, you'll immediately see all the ALT texts you can edit ( with a filter selection, you can select "All" or "With errors").
Select JSON-LD from the menu bar at the top. With TinyIMG you can update all your store information.When you are done, click the button “Activate” or “Update” if you have It already active.
Select Site Audit from the menu bar at the top. Select one of the pages (home, product, collection, articles or others). And click “Reports”. Then choose one of the products and click “View report”. TinyIMG will find all SEO & speed errors and warnings on your Shopify store and list them in easy-to-understand reports. In those reports, you’ll also find recommended actions to solve listed SEO issues. We also provide tips and tutorials on how to improve SEO on your Shopify store. Just click “Learn more” on the issue you are trying to solve.
Select SEO edit from the menu bar at the top. Select one of the pages (product, collection or article) and click “View”. Then select one of the products and click “Edit”. We will import your shop’s SEO related data to our TinyIMG dashboard. You will get personalized tips on how to improve your meta tags. On the left, you see prefilled fields for your meta title and meta description. On the right, you can find their score, our tips on how to improve your meta tags, and your most common keywords. You can also see how your optimized meta tags will look in Google search!
